Axis & Aliies Terms
Regiment - 1 default group of units deployed from a division hq
Division - group of 6 regiments
Brigade - group of 2 divisions
Platoon - group of 4 brigades
Battalion - group of 8 brigades
Corps - full military including buildings, soldiers, ships, ect
Battlefield Terms
Tango - enemy infantry
Bandit - enemy fighter plane
Bogey - enemy bomber
Fish - torpedoes/bombs
Click - the leanth of one grid on map
MG - machine gun
Hard Target - enemy tank or halftrack
Soft Target - jeep or infantry
Ace - any fighter pilot with special combat skill
Marksman - rifleman with high rate of accuracy (over 75%)
Cover - anything to hide behind, distracting enemies so comrades can move more easily
Suppressing Fire - heavy fire used to give cover or neutralize an enemy possition
Flank - to the left, right, and rear of a soldier's possition, attacking an enemy's side or rear
